$46,000-$60,000 per year The Manager of the Angela's House Home Store will manage the overall operations and performance of the Angela's House Home Store.
The manager will maximize revenue while minimizing expenses so the Home Store can increase net revenues.
They will also provide leadership and motivation to staff and volunteers toward achieving the Home Store Mission and provide an excellent donor and customer service experience.
The manager will assist with relationships with donors to insure a steady stream of quality donations.
This position is Monday - Friday 10a-7p with rotating weekends/weekends as needed.
Hours will be during the store hours.
Store Hours:
Mon-Sat 10a-7p, Sun 11-6
Responsibilities:
E- Connotes Essential Functions E-1 Strive to achieve the annual budget and exceed in gross revenue while minimizing expenses E-2 Hire and train competent and motivated Home Store Staff members and provide that with clear responsibility, accountability, and recognition and rewards when they do well E-3 Actively recruit new Home Store volunteers E-4 Assist the Development team to plan and implement cohesive marketing strategies & donor promotions to help drive up the number of donated goods and sales.
E-5 Establish policies and procedures for the safe, secure, and high-quality performance of all aspects of the Home Store activities E-6 Establish pricing and inventory policies on a regular basis and adjust these as necessary for changing market conditions E-7 Oversee scheduling of all store activities including staff schedules, volunteer schedules, and other special events E-8 Monitor conditions of the Home Store for needed maintenance and improvements E-9 Oversee Home Store merchandising to best utilize available display space 10.
Oversee Home Store space utilization including timely inventory control to ensure appropriate turnover of aging stock 11.
Track sales date to determine customer items in demand 12.
Assist customers in getting what they are looking for and become repeat customers 13.
Assist in soliciting Home Store donations from surrounding community partners, local businesses, retailers, churches, institutions, etc.

Assist in the logistics involved in bringing in donations to the Angela's House Home Store 15.
Taking part in coordinating Meetings, Trade shows, Community groups etc helping to promote donations and sales for the Store 16.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
A.
At least five years of experience in retail management B.
Out-going personality, easily able to meet and have conversations with new people of diverse backgrounds and positions of authority C.
Ability to use multi-line phone system, cash register/POS system, and general office equipment D.
Computer knowledge that includes Microsoft Office Suite E.
Ability to learn new computer programs as needed F.
Be friendly, self-motivated, enthusiastic and reliable G.
Ability to handle and defuse challenging situations with tact H.
Excellent communicator with conflict resolution skills I.
Able to speak and talk about Angela's House and Home Store J.
Ability to provide leadership and direction to staff and volunteers K.
Ability to perform most Home Store tasks in the absence of volunteers L.
Commitment to a safe, secure, attractive, and friendly work environment M.
Able to lift 30 lbs.
